How do I use Nexium?

Taken orally once a day (with or without food), or as directed by your doctor. You have to swallow this medicine whole, without crushing the tablets. If you have difficulty swallowing this medicine whole, the tablet can be placed in a glass (120 ml), with non-carbonated water.

This drug is not recommended for use during pregnancy, and may be taken only if it is really necessary. Discuss the pros and cons with your doctor.
The drug gets into breast milk. If you started taking Generic Nexium, consult with your doctor before you begin breastfeeding.

What side effects from this medication?

You may experience: nausea, gas, stomach pain, headache, diarrhea, constipation, or dry mouth. Inform your doctor in case of deterioration or aggravation of any side effects.
